An inbox that knows when to wrap up

A disposable inbox shouldn’t feel like a toy you use once. It should show exactly how much time is left, what just arrived, and what every action did.

Ready to use right away

Your complete address appears immediately after creation—no signup or personal details required. Copy, receive, and read messages in one pane.

Time is always visible

The countdown isn’t hidden in settings. Extend it directly when you need to wait for another message, or change your address to start with a completely fresh inbox.

New messages arrive automatically

The inbox checks for mail every seven seconds. When a new message arrives, it replaces the demo content. HTML emails are shown in an isolated reading area.

Built for short-term tasks

Keep the verification code,
not the identity trail.

Use a time-limited address for low-risk tasks that don’t require long-term recovery. For financial, medical, or important accounts, use an email address you control long term.

  • Sign up for one-time trials without sending marketing emails to your everyday inbox
  • Verify email delivery and HTML rendering during development and testing
  • Receive download links, event confirmations, or short-lived verification codes
  • Before leaving, confirm you won’t need this address for account recovery

Three steps from start to finish

No hidden doors and no bouncing between pages. Your address, messages, and time remaining stay together on one workspace.

01 / Get an address

Copy the full email address

Your address is ready as soon as it’s generated. The local part stays clear and continuous, with no line break around the @ symbol.

02 / Wait for messages

Let your inbox refresh itself

The message list shows only the useful details—sender, subject, and time. Unread content opens directly in the reading area.

03 / Leave on time

Delete or wait for expiry

Delete an individual message, replace the entire address, or let the inbox clean itself up when the timer ends.

Temporary doesn’t mean vague. Every status should tell you exactly what’s happening.

Default window 3 hours

A new address starts its timer at creation and stops receiving once it expires.

Auto-check 7 seconds

While the page is open, new mail is asked for on a fixed interval—no need to mash refresh.

Signup steps 0 signups

The disposable inbox asks for no account. Copy the address and start receiving.

About disposable email

Understand expiry, delivery, and usage limits before deciding whether to give this address to a website.

Can a disposable email receive verification codes?

It can receive verification codes sent by ordinary email, but delivery policies vary by sender. If a message doesn’t arrive, refresh the inbox, check the time remaining, or try again with a new address.

How long does a disposable email last?

New OurTemp inboxes are valid for three hours by default. The workspace shows a live countdown, and you can select “Extend” if you need more time.

What happens to emails after expiry?

The address and its messages are automatically deleted as part of the service cleanup process. Save anything you truly need before expiry, and don’t use it for accounts that require long-term recovery.

When shouldn’t I use a disposable email?

Banking, payments, healthcare, your primary work account, and any important service that relies on email recovery are better served by an address you control long term with security protections enabled.

Give your next verification code to an inbox that knows when to leave.
